Yacuma Lodge was created for
nature lovers. It is simple, nice and cosy and located in a beautiful spot in the shores
of the Napo River. It has 2 separate areas. The first main area consists of a complex of
typical Quechua bungalows with accommodations for 2 guests with simple beds, mattresses and
mosquito nets, as well as, a separate kitchen and dining area and a separate toilet and
shower area.
The
second area has 4 bungalows with private facilities and is located a few meters away from
the main area. Fresh water is obtained from a clear water spring and treated for safe
consumption.
Where is it located? A 5-6 hour drive from Quito will take you to the
upper basin of the Amazonas River. After enjoying beautiful sceneries, you will arrive to
the city of Tena. From Tena, a 2-hour drive is necessary to arrive to the Santa Rosa
indigenous village. From here, our canoes will take you to the lodge located 30 minutes
down the Napo River.
We can
organize 3, 4, 5 day tours.
Yacuma
Lodge offers nature as it is:....pure, pristine, peaceful!
